So today I would like to talk to you all about niching. Niching your bridal business. What that actually means when people talk about it and how to do it and what the benefits are for you both financially, but also emotionally. How niching can benefit you and your business all around.
So I thought that I would do this following on from a Substack that I did all about of things that you need to avoid when going to Bridal Shows to buy wholesale stock. One of the things to avoid was buying stuff that is out of your niche for your shop and buying things because other people tell you that you should be having them in your store.
Now that could be because they think you should have something more commercial or that you should have something more alternative, something more fashion forward.
And I had so many people responding to me and saying, Oh my God, that always happens to me when I go to a bridal show. Or that always happens to me when I talk to wedding industry people who do something different than me and it really makes me think that I've done something wrong in niching my business.
And I was having conversations on Instagram and email regarding this. So I thought we could do a podcast episode on it and just debunk the whole thing.
